A Word About Coronavirus, COVID-19:
Like many of you, we have spent the last few days and weeks learning about what this virus is, how it is impacting our world, and what to do about it. Can my appliance be fixed in one visit?
Before each appliance visit, a senior technician will qualify the repair and have any parts necessary ready for the technician who will be sent to make the repair. This allows us to make many repairs with just one visit. However, if we cannot make the repair on the first visit, you will not be charged the trip fee again.
What happens if you don’t have my part?
We have an inventory of over a thousand parts, but if we do not have the part you need on hand, we can order almost every part and have it within one to two days, allowing us to be able to fix your appliance quickly after we receive the part.
How will I know when you will be at my home?
We understand that you don’t want to have to spend your entire waiting for an appliance repair technician to show up to your home. To help ensure that that doesn’t happen, we will give you a three hour window in which we will arrive to make repairs, such as between 10am and 1pm. We call you the afternoon of the business day before your scheduled visit to confirm your appointment time. We can also give you a call when the technician is 15 to 30 minutes out so you know to expect them and make sure you are home.
Do I have to be home?
Yes, we do require that someone is home while the repairs are being made. We cannot send a technician to a residence that has nobody there. If you cannot be home during the time you are scheduled, we will happily work with you to find a time that does work.
How do you charge for repairs?
Repairs are broken into 3 categories of fees: 1) Trip and Diagnosis, 2) Repair Labor and 3) Parts. You will only be charged for the trip and diagnosis and the labor once, no matter how many times we have to come out to complete your repairs. If your repair is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, then there is no charge for the service to you.
How do I know if I should just replace my appliance?
We can help by giving the unit a full diagnostic check to see if your appliance is worth the repair, or if we feel your money would be better spent on purchasing a new appliance. We have years of experience in appliance repair, and can give you our expert opinion. The decision is ultimately yours however, and if you’d like to have your appliance repaired, we should be able to do it right away!
