Can you fix my appliance?
We can repair most major appliances, such as refrigerators, freezers, cooktops, ranges, ovens, washing machines, clothes dryers, dishwashers and more!
How much will it cost?
As with most repairs, each appliance repair is going to be different. The type of appliance, the parts needed and how extensive the labor is going to be determines the cost of the repair. When we come to your home and run diagnostics on the appliance and determine what repair or repairs are needed, we will provide you with an estimate. If the repair is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, then there is no cost to you!
What is your charging structure?
Out of Warranty repairs are broken into 3 categories: 1) Trip and Diagnosis, 2) Repair Labor and 3) Parts. Trip and diagnostics are the first step before we can determine exactly what is wrong with your unit. The repair labor will be determined by the type of repair that is required.
Can I be billed for my repair?
Payment is due upon completion of the repair and cannot be billed. We accept charge or check.
Will my appliance be fixed same day?
Diamond strives to fix your appliance on the first call. We qualify each repair with a senior technician before sending the technician to your residence. By doing this, and by having over 1,000 parts in house, we hope to have everything needed in order to repair your appliance right away. However, more than one visit may be required.
Will I be charged extra is the repair is not made on the first visit?
If we cannot fix the appliance on the first visit, you will not be charged again for the trip fee or for the labor.
How does scheduling work?
We schedule customers in three hour time blocks, meaning that we’ll give you a three hour window in which we’ll arrive. This is done because we do not know how long the appointment before yours will take. We call one business day prior to your appointment to confirm, but if this does not work for you, please let us know! We’ll happily schedule another time with you that works better. If you’d like, we can also give you a call when our tech is 30 minutes out from coming to your home so you know when to expect them.
Does someone have to be home during the repair?
With very few exceptions, those being apartment buildings and commercial settings, someone does have to be home during the repair appointment. There are often questions that need to be answered and we’ll need someone there to answer them. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please let us know and we can accommodate you!
